Cal Russell-Thompson

Aged 23 and faced with the choice between a career in English teaching or getting a foot in the door of the art world, Cal has decided to just do both and let the whole thing play out. Bristol seemed like a nice place for this, so squint at the Watershed, the Arnolfini or the ICIA in Bath, and you’ll make him look really blurry as he loiters around there on weekends. The rest of the time he’s supply teaching, getting overexcited about Donna Tartt novels, and watching series after series of goodness-knows-what on Netflix. We’ve all done it.
