Hello! Rife Magazine ceased publishing new work in July 2022.

We've kept the magazine online as an archive and hope you'll still continue to enjoy all of its contributions from the last 8 years.

The Link: Freedom Of Mind Special

KB

The Link, Rife’s free networking event for Bristol’s young creatives is back, in association with Freedom Of Mind Festival.

Our speaker for this Mental Health and Wellbeing Special (we’re linking with the wonderful Freedom Of Mind Festival for this event) is Kevin Braddock…

The Link is free. There will be refreshments. There will be lots of creatives to mingle with. And there will be lots of new people to meet. So whether you are a writer, blogger, photographer, filmmaker, artist, illustrator or just intersted in lots of different things, The Link is perfect for you! Fun, friendly and informal.

Get your name on the list by RSVPing to info@rifemagazine.co.uk

Our speaker for this Mental Health and Wellbeing Special (we’re linking with the wonderful Freedom Of Mind Festival for this event) is Kevin Braddock, founder of Torchlight System, a project that uses storytelling for recovery. He has over 20 years’ experience in print media as writer and editor, and has worked for GQ, Esquire, The Face and The Guardian in addition to editing, founding and publishing print magazines. Most recently he was Embedded Storyteller at digital product consultancy Made By Many.

In this talk Kevin will talk about Torchlight and how mental health and wellbeing has affected his creative journey.
