I wanted to learn the disciplines of ballet technique so I decided to take up a few classes to get a (small) taste of life as a ‘Black Swan’. I wrote a poem in response to my experience, reflecting on the physical and emotional conditioning required to pursue ballet dancing. So rather than telling you, I wanted to show you, by poetically pirouetting through my video montage…enjoy
